ABOUT US

Established in 2013, Surbiton Amateur Boxing Club is affiliated to the National Governing Body - England Boxing, with the aim of providing a safe and productive environment for the training and coaching of competitive Olympic style Amateur Boxing.

​​​​​​​​​We also open our doors to other groups of the community such as recreational boxers, local schools, youths and beginners.

 

The principals of ‘no nonsense’ boxing and fitness training are promoted at the club.  We are a young club with great energy and teach skills that instil Dedication, Determination & Discipline into all boxers.

COACHING

All training is led by qualified coaches who will give guidance and advice during the classes.

 

Our Head Coach, HARRY is a full-time coach with over 10 years' experience in the boxing environment.

Our Senior Coach, ALEC gained his first coaching badge in 1985 with over 30 years of Amateur Boxing coaching experience.

Our Competitive Coach, LEE is a Level 2 Boxing Coach and also the fixtures secretary of the club.

Our Recreational Coach, MATT is a level 1 Boxing Coach and Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer.

Our Female Coach, SARAH-JANE is a Level 1 Boxing Coach who has also competed as an Amateur Boxer.
